How reviews work
Reviews are what makes this platform trustworthy — here are the plain rules behind every one you see.
Tied to a real, completed booking
Only the owner of a booking that's actually been marked completed can review it — never before, and never for a booking that was cancelled.
A 30-day window to leave it
You can submit a review any time in the 30 days after a booking completes. After that, it's closed — a review of a half-remembered stay isn't useful to anyone.
7 days to fix a typo
You can edit your rating or text for 7 days after you submit it. Edited reviews are marked "(edited)" so nobody's surprised. After 7 days, it's locked in.
You can always take it down
You can delete your own review at any time, no time limit — it's your words, your call.
One review per booking
Each completed booking gets exactly one review from its owner, enforced by the database, not just by convention.
Moderated, not policed
We watch for implausible patterns (like a stay reviewed suspiciously fast) so our team can look closer — reviews are never auto-removed by a machine, only by a human admin after a report.
